Highview Initiatives: A focus on the future
To remain at the forefront of our industry, Highview understand the importance of focusing on the future. We persist in taking the right steps in the right directions to enable us to lead the way. These steps include continual, high quality training for all staff, using the latest available technologies and being proactive in our responsibilities both socially and environmentally.
Climate Change StrategyAt Highview Accounting, we take our commitment to a sustainable future serious. That's why we have had our complete office carbon footprint calculated by the Carbon Reduction Institute. This included emissions from electricity usage, ground travel; waste, and embodied emissions in all our assets and company expenses. We purchase energy efficiency carbon credits from the HELP Project to offset our carbon emissions.
In addition we have undertaken numerous measures to lower our business carbon footprint:
- Highview staff have firstly all become more educated in the area
- We have switched to green electricity
- Highview have changed the Printing and Shredding Service providers we use to Carbon Neutral ones
- All staff have come up with ways to reduce paper and electricity usage
In the future we are organizing quotes for new, more efficient lighting. Our partners are investigating improving the cars they drive and have already become active in the community with the intention of becoming a case study for the local area.
